New Vision journalist Charles Etukuri has been abducted by people suspected of being security operatives.
According to workmates at New Vision, Etukuri was abducted outside the company's head office in Industrial area.

"He was picked by operatives dressed in military fatigue,"said Chris Kiwawulo, one of Etukuri's workmates.
It is suspected that the abduction is related to some of the stories that he wrote recently in the New Vision.
Etukuri is part of the team in the government newspaper's investigation desk.
