Case Hospital to refund Shs29m meant for Radio’s treatment

Case Hospital has resolved to refund Shs 29million that was meant to pay for the treatment of fallen singer Moses Ssekibogo alias Mowzey Radio.

Mowzey was admitted at the hospital in critical condition following referral from Nsambya Hospital. On reaching Case Hospital, he was checked in at the ICU facility, but certain money was required to be paid in advance.

In the due process, expenses increased and his management sought external assistance which arrived through President Museveni and City socialite Bryan White to the tune of Shs30m and Shs25m respectively.

Unfortunately, Mowzey died few days after the contributions from Museveni and White. Now music promoter, Balaam Barugahara, who was key during Mowzey’s sickness and funeral says by the time of the singer’s death, only 26 million had been used.

He says the money refunded by the hospital will be advanced to the family to support them.
