Workers MP Dr Sam Lyomoki has declared his intension of contesting for Presidency in the next Presidential election.
Speaking to journalists at parliament on Friday, Lyomoki said his bid is intended at ensuring the end of bad governance and respect of the rule of law in the country.
The fire spitting Lyomoki says he will first tussle out for the NRM presidential flag and in case he is rigged out or banned from contesting will contest as an independent.
Dr Lyomoki has also warned the high ranking government officials like the Governor of Central Bank, Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile and the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura against inclining with the president to sabotage the economy and people’s rights.
“We shall retire all permanent secretaries, all ministers if we take over power. But for the president, vice, speaker and Chief Justice we shall give immunity,” Lyomoki said.
