Vipers FC secures Shs 300m sponsorship

Despite finishing third in the previous season’s Azam Uganda Premier League, Entebbe based Vipers FC are sweeping sponsorship deals from every nook and cranny.

Vipers' club president Lawrence Mulindwa (Left) receives a cheque from DFCU chief of business and CEO, William Sekabembe.

On Wednesday, the Vipers entered a new marriage with DFCU Bank worth a staggering Shs 300 million.

The two year deal will help transform the club for it will cater for salaries and supporting club activities.

With 8 games played so far this season, Vipers  lie 3rd with 15 points behind second placed Arua based side Onduparaka which has 16 points. In first position is Abudallah Mubiru’s  Police FC with 17 points while the defending champions KCCA FC lie 5th with 13points.

L-R: Vipers legal advisor Mr Alex Luganda and club president Lawrence Luganda sign the deal.

Vipers next game will be on Tuesday next week when they visit UPDF.
