Mabirizi launches campaign to defend age limit

MOSES NAMAYO

Former presidential candidate, Elton Mabirizi has launched a campaign dubbed " Sooka Oleke Kyokola" aimed at protecting article 102(b) of the Constitution.

Mabirizi according to his press release urged the UPDF Uganda to desist from enganging in partisan politics.

His appeal comes at a time when members of the Special Forces Command reportedly roughed up opposition MPs in parliament. The MPs, who are opposed to lifting the presidential age-limit had been suspended by the Speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
